des Entwurfs-programmes |
Space, in all its complexity has a fundamental impact on all facets of our consciousness and wellbeing. Spatial qualities are not precisely measurable, but there are reasons why we like or dislike something. What we experience with our senses we test with our intellect. What we trust unconsciously we clarify with abstraction. Our judgement is always based in personal experience, but there are, for sure, also archetypal spatial conditions that almost imperceptibly touch our basic instincts.
We want to think what great spaces could be and how we could create and build them. The starting point will be our most immediate surroundings, one concrete space. In order to discover, we want to work as intuitively as possible. In order to be universally understandable we have to rationalize. The result will be personal statements expressed in the form of architectural projects.
Each student will choose its own site and design a house for him- or herself. |
